New Children’s Book: Lollopy Goes Olympic for 4 to 8 year olds

Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 12, 2010 -- Grit Weinstein and Miranda O’Shea have just launched their second children’s book titled Lollopy Goes Olympic.

Lollopy Goes Olympic is a heart-warming story with colorful illustrations about the true meaning of winning, losing and friendships. Lollopy, the rabbit, and his animal friends, Sniffy, Dory, Maddy and Paddy, decide to organize their very own winter Olympic games. This is the second children's life lesson story after The Tale of the Little Duckling named Dory by Grit Weinstein and illustrator, Miranda O'Shea. About the author:
Grit Weinstein was born and raised in Germany. After finishing her education as a nurse, she moved to Zurich, Switzerland where she lived and worked as a nurse for more than 12 years. She has a passion for reading, art and children. She is working on a series of children books. She is married to Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein, USAR-Ret, also known as the Health Colonel, and resides with him in South Florida.

About the illustrator:
Miranda O’Shea was raised in Rome, Italy for most of her early years. She has had a mixed education with a combination of Italian and English. From Rome, Miranda went on to further her studies in England, and studied fashion design. She then went on to Santa Barbara, California to study fine art and multimedia. She has had her own greeting card business photographing architectural views around parts of the globe. She resides in South Florida with her boyfriend Gidon and has a line of baby t-shirts with her colorful
illustrations.
